Loretto Fun Fest – 2019 Community Event

20th Annual Loretto Fun Fest will be held Saturday, September 14th – at the Loretto Ball fields starting at 3:00 pm.  This year’s events include:

LORETTO MARKET

Vendors will be lined up along the walkway as you enter the ball fields. The Loretto Market runs from 3-7 pm. If you’re interested in having a booth in our market, complete the form at the bottom of this page and submit, along with fees, to Loretto City Hall.

Other activities include:

  • Inflatables:  the Animal Kingdom Toddler PlaylandLeaps and Bounds Obstacle Course, 35 Foot Giant Kraken Slide!! 
  • 24 Foot Rock Climbing Wall
  • Kid’s Crafts by the Village Church
  • Kiddie Train
  • Face Painting
  • Curtis Beckmann Commentary, The Good Ole Days of WCCO Radio (3-4pm)
  • Bingo hosted by Loretto Knights of Columbus (4-6pm) with a fun “Pick A Prize” table
  • Henna Tattoos (2 artists again this year!!)
  • Delicious Food by Choo Choo
  • The Balloon Dude (4-7pm)
  • Search and Rescue Demonstrations (3:30 and 4:30pm)
  • The Teddy Bear Band with Mr. Panda at 4:45
  • Music By Rich & The Resistors at 5:45
  • KRWC Roadshow (6:30-7:45 at the Arnold Klaers Baseball Field)


The DonB Variety Show
 is new this year and will perform a 30 minute show on the Arnold Klaer’s baseball field starting at 8pm!

And last, but never least, our spectacular FIREWORKS show will begin at dusk (about 8:30 pm). There’s a great view from the hill by the baseball field!

Donation Opportunities
Clothing, Shoes, and Non-Perishable Food

21st Century Bank and Love INC will be hosting a used clothing drive along with our Fun Fest. You can bring your donations (clothing and shoes in any condition) to the bank parking lot on the day of the event between 9am and 1pm

Please bring a non-perishable food donation for the Hanover Food Shelf! Collection bins will be available at the City booth as you enter the Loretto Market
